Ruff!

Hard to comment on its use but I spent 4 years in Alaska with the Army and didn't have this Ruff with he GORTEX I had but wish I did. I have used the old OG winter gear with a wolf fur ruff and they work great. Plan on using this when snow blowing out driveway during my Pennsylvania winters.

ECWCS Fur Ruff

Until recently I thought the thin hood attached to the ECWCS Jacket was the only available option for cold/wet weather use. While in the military I was never issued a snorkel hood or fur ruff and had no clue they existed. After buying my own set of gen 3 gortex, I found this accessory and am absolutely thrilled to have it. While the "fur" is a combination of wool and synthetic fibers it's going to be a welcome addition to my cold weather hiking/camping/hunting gear.
