This item is sold as one set of 2 gaiters: One for each foot.
They are primarily made of thick water-resistant canvas, allowing them to effectively guard against dust and dirt as well as splashes of oil and water. These gaiters also protect your feet and lower legs from biting bugs, nettles, and thorns.
Their speed lace hooks help you to get them on and off quickly. The leather trim at the bottom protects the canvas from wear and tear. The bottom straps are strong and secure your boots into place so that you won't be stuck having to adjust them constantly. With these gaiters, you can rest (or run) easier while adventuring in the great outdoors!
*Metal may have some corrosion.

I ordered a pair of size 1 gaiters without laces going by the size chart listed in the product description, I wear size 13 boots and the gaiters fit them well but I reckon I've gotta to more calf workouts cause these were very large around my calf and it's tough for me to imagine just how big someone's calf has to be to wear these properly. That being said, if you own a sewing machine or hand awl just measure your calf and mark the fabric where youd like it to join up to fit. Cut away excess from the backside of where the gatier wraps around your leg, fashion everything back together to the best of your ability (take your time and measure multiple times) and presto you've tailored these wonderful vintage gaiters to your size! I applied some canvas wax to mine but it isnt like they are useless without it, it's just my personal preference. If you dont want to go through the tailoring process or perhaps you have normal sized calves then maybe try a size 2 or 3. The metal fasteners on mine were in pristine condition but that may vary. I'd recommend these for anyone who forages in thickets of nettles or anyone tasked with operating a weed eater.
