The Extreme Cold Weather N-1B Mukluk Boots are made of water and weather-resistant cotton duck upper and a rubber sole with a cleated tread. They fasten up with both regular boot laces and a zipper running along the front of each boot.

These Mukluks are designed to be worn with the Mukluk liners (sold separately). If you are not planning on using the liner consider wearing one or two pairs of socks to adjust for the sizing. See the bottom of this page for more sizing information.

These Mukluks were issued to airman and crew members of the United States Air Force in the 1990’s to keep them warm and dry in remote and wintery conditions such as Alaska. They are basically a cold weather boot and gaiters combined. They are 20” in height and are sure to keep snow and moisture out of your feet. Consider getting the Mukluk liners as well for even more warmth!

Nice surplus boots

Boots came as described in much better condition than I anticipated, without the wool inserts these boots would fit incredibly loose, but with them they fit great with room for more layers if needed, McGuire is a solid supplier of nice military surplus. Highly recommend!

Game Changer

I have an ankle that is swollen permanently and have been looking for a pair of boots that zip so that I can get my foot in. The pull on boots are just too difficult. I found these and took a chance. I have only used them once but I went fishing in some pretty cold weather. I put in a couple of layers of soles and wore my mukluk socks. I was worried they might be too heavy but when I started walking they weren't heavy at all! I loved them! My toes never did get cold which is highly unusual. I ordered the used boots and now that I like them so well I wished I would have ordered the new ones. Not a big deal just a couple of blemishes that might get bigger with use. I am excited to try them again when it snows here. They are a little large but that is so much better than being small. I am a size 11 Women's and ordered a Medium.
