Keeps my head dry, when I don't feel like wearing a raincoat for a very light rain.....double up with both rain Hat and raincoat when rain is heavier....
I am perfectly satisfied with the $27.99 (free shipping) Government Contractor Military Boonie in Woodland Camouflage that I ordered from McGuire Army-Navy. I am a US ARMY veteran and this Made by R & B, Inc, USA headwear matches the G.I. issue boonie hats that I wore in Thailand and Korea and ever since. I'm confident that I will do future business with McGuire Army-Navy.

I am a fan of the genre of hat known as the “bucket hat” . .It is a design that I find to be appealing visually and it is also very practical for keeping the sun off the ears and neck and fending off sunlight in the line of sight. I have purchased three or four hats of this design prior to shopping with McGuire and only one of those was really on par with the McGuire product and I think I left that in a movie theater in 2002. The McGuire bucket hat has a nice structure to it. Flexible of course where needed but it does have some thickness to the material which is good so it doesn’t get flopped around too much in adverse weather. The colors are nice. . The durability thing is not something I have really tested but I would be surprised if these bad smokerz don’t hold up well! Very cool hat. . I bought a black one and then got an urge to buy a tan colored one. . So yeah. . I bought that one too!
