This BPA-free plastic Military Canteen is essential for hiking or camping trips and a necessary component for your bug-out bag or survival kit. It has rigid walls and a curve to conform to your body shape.

The insulated canteen cover is made from a nylon duck fabric, with acrylic fiber interior. The case closes over the canteen with two snap-closed flaps that surround the top. On the back of the cover are two ALICE clips for connection to a backpack or pistol belt. There is also a small cargo pocket on one side of the GI canteen cover.

I haven’t used it yet but it appears to be the same quality as the one issued when I had my original issue.

Exceed Expectations

These Canteens and covers work great! Very well made and the covers are easy to get on and snapped unlike some others I have seen.

McGuire Products

I am a U.S. Army veteran. I recently purchased a canteen w/cover and a pistol belt from McGuire. The quality of these products exceeds that of the original items I was issued back in 1964-1976. Back then, the canteen cover was a heavy cotton blend w/ heavy felt lining; McGuire’s is nylon w/ a lighter lining material that still keeps the water cool for a long time (Arizona summer heat). The pistol belt is likewise a nylon composite compared with the cotton web belt I once had. The canteen is brand new and identical to those of circa 1970. Overall, I am delighted with the performance and quality of these items!
