US Army M-65, Used
This genuine US military issue has useful added features that sets it apart from other field jackets. There is a hideaway hood which easily zips into the collar, extra pockets for holding your gear, adjustable sleeves with Velcro straps, and stylish shoulder epaulets. The M65 field jacket shielded soldiers from the elements throughout the Vietnam War and beyond. Due to the introduction of the ECWCS layering system, it was recently phased out.
These jackets are used and may contain various other patches and insignia other than the US ARMY tab such as rank and unit tabs. These are used in very good condition with no rips, tears or holes.

The M-65 Field Jacket was introduced into U.S. military service in 1965 to replace the M-1951 field jacket. It was widely used by the United States troops during the Vietnam War in which the jacket became useful for troops serving in the central highlands of south Vietnam. The front of the jacket has two large hip pockets and two chest pockets. The collar of the jacket features a stow away hood so you can be prepared if the weather takes a turn for the worst. The jacket can be combined with a button insulated lining for cold weather wear.

I ordered the camo M65 field jacket in a medium short since my weight lose. I usually fit a size large normal length. But I figured a short jacket might fit a little bit better on me. I also ordered the liner but I'll address that in a separate review. As I suspected the jacket fits really well even with the liner installed. However, the jacket arrived in a fair to even poor condition. There are lots of pilling, color fading, and even some paint splattered on the surface. It's like paying for a $20 jacket from a thrift store for $50. With that said I do like the worn in look of the jacket. I'll get a bit of wear out of it during cooler weather. I just wish the jacket could have been in a better condition. I guess I'll buy another one in like new or even in new condition. Take a look at the pictures I've provided for details.
