While it's great to have year-round, it does its best work in the cold. With 66 x 90 inches of wool blend fabric, you may find it difficult to escape the cozy cocoon that this blanket creates. Fire retardant, moisture-wicking, and mold-resistant, this blanket will keep out the cold and retain the heat you need most.


Care instructions: Machine Wash Cold, Gentle Cycle. Delicates or Wool Detergent. Dry on Low or Line Dry. Do not Dry Clean.

These military wool blankets are the real deal and are definitley warm to hot! They do need to be aired out and after that are ready to serve. I have had one for a year and it was toasty all winter. McGuire has them available and at a great price! Grab a few while you can.

Italian wool blankets

These blankets are very good. They are very similar to the US military wool ones and just a little thinner, not much though. They look like a very good deal. They have a funny smell to them, so wash them before using.
