The vintage bag is strong and sturdy. A little difficult to open or close but good for long term storage. My only real complaint is that it smelled mouldy and needed to be washed.
The Deuce Gear mostly was acceptable. The suspenders, compass case, and magazine pouches were new and clean. However the cartridge belt was dirty, was very worn and worse was too small . . . and I have a 36 inch waste.
By and large I wasn't impressed.
Italian military gear bag was in outstanding shape. Very useful, very large, I am using it as a fishing gear bag. Carries extra 'stuff' I don't want in tackle box (3 different size reels).
It was bigger and a bit different than expected but fits my assault bag, kit and range bag which is what I bought it for. Overall a great bag that won't ever rip. Trow it in the truck and go train.
When it arrived it did smell like mildew like the others in the reviews. Upon fully inspection it was in good shape but missing a chain link that runs across the top to close the bag opening. The mildew smell wasn't too bad, a little vinegar and warm water spray. At one point just used a whole gallon of white vinegar and left it in my garage to dry out. Afterwards threw it in the washer and hit the dryer on high for an hour. The mildew was gone afterwards. Only drawback was just that missing chain link to close the bag and keep it together.
Larger than I thought. Plenty of room. It definitely has a strong storage odor to it. Im a canvas and surplus nut, so Everything I expected and a good price. Ty
