This is the best jacket for me so light yet it keeps me warm last winter with a short sleeve TShirt I walked indoor comfortably
I was very pleased with this item and with Mcguire. They ship fast, and I get exactly what I expect. In preparing to purchase this, other's reviews are spot on and actually consistent with the ECWCS system. This is level 3 and, when used with levels 1 and/or 2, keeps me comfortable down to 50 degrees easily and down to 40 degrees with no wind. At that point, I added a puffy jacket and was comfortable at 30 degrees. If you are concerned about what this jacket will do, read up on the full ECWCS system. The results are consistent with what it was built for.
I bought a used fleece liner for my gore tex parka, the one I received was like new for about one half price then nee. i will buy again great company fast shipping.
Quality jacket,good price
Since the weather has gotten chilly, my son needed a fleece jacket for JROTC, and we got him this one. I honestly wasn’t expecting much, I’m former military and have seen a lot of rough gear for sale, but figured it would work until we could find him a nice one. The fleece was in outstanding condition, and keeps my son warm when he drives to school (he can’t wear it during school hours, only his cammies, no idea why…). Thanks guys, he is super happy with it, and so am I, and the price was excellent too, so it’s a win/win!
