This jacket was previously issued to Aviation and CVC members (Combat Vehicle Crew). It is generally used to protect the wearer from cold weather conditions, heat, and flames due to its Nomex construction.
This jacket is used although the condition is excellent, it might still show signs of moderate wear and age. Some of these jackets may or might not contain Velcro patches on the chest and different patches on the sleeve.
