Very comfortable. States,"states slightly blemished", but can't find it.
I have the same boots, blemmed, for 2 years and still wear them daily. So I just ordered another pair at this great price while I could. They are exceptional quality, extremely durable. They are summer weight but have gortex lining and no drain holes so they are called "temperate", but they are summer wt. Fully gusseted tongue to keep all wash/debri out. I have worn these in deep puddles, driving rain, thru wet/dewy grass, mud, snow, slush etc. My feet ALWAYS stay dry, and warm (because they're dry), and this boot's materials allow it to breath so moisture/perspiration doesn't build up and freeze your toes/foot. Since I cant get the good mil socks anymore, I pair these with Dickies boot length/shin guard socks in the winter and Dickies black crew socks in the summer. perfect combo, works great together. For the price ($90) it is the best buy period! I laugh at the other guys at work that spend around $250 for their fancy Under Armor boots only for them to shred like wet toilette paper in 6 months or less. HA! The only blem i could find was a little rough grating near were the sole and toe meet on one boot, but that will fill in with polish. And they don't have the name branding on the outside heel (if that counts). The only real complaint I have is that the tongue does not extend past the top of the boot like it should about a good inch or so. Same issue on both pairs I have. If they are a little snug at first, keep moving around in them, better yet wear them in wet weather so the leather will soften and stretch and conform to your foot.
Very nice boots would buy again thank you
Great deal on some great boots. Way to narrow for me so I must return. But the quality is too notch, you'll never know they're blems.
These Bates military boots are very comfortable, and feature Gore-Tex waterproof liner. It's normally at first, especially across the ball of the foot, but as they break in and the insole compresses, they get more comfortable. The outsole is Vibram and very durable. Even though they are sold as "cosmetic blemishes", the particular pair that I received had a serious stitching issue, that looks bad, but does not seem to affect the wear of the boot. Otherwise, they are perfect boots for the money.
