This balaclava has a flat stitched open eye area, providing an uninterrupted field of vision. The ear areas are patched with extra fabric for additional protection from the cold. The inside of the balaclava features a nylon strip to protect the mouth from the zipper's teeth. Just flip it up out of the way when you go to open the zipper. The bottom also has a flat stitched hem, preventing skin irritation. It is lightweight and easy to store, unlike some of those bulkier knit ones.
