The US genuine issue tool cover was designed to carry the army issue shovel but that doesn’t mean it doesn’t have other uses. This 1000 denier nylon pouch is perfect for carrying all sorts of extras, if you don't have, or need a shovel. Whether you need an extra pocket for small tools, spare magazines, a book (we don't judge) or anything else, this pouch is perfect.

It can hold a wide variety of useful items and can be hung on a belt or connected to your other MOLLE gear. If you are carrying a shovel, this pouch fits most major brands of folding shovels, including the Grumman, SOG and Gerber folding shovels.

Buy this; forget the other junk

Looking for an emergency shovel for your car? Forget Amazon and all the NEW stuff. Get one here from McGuire Surplus…and know you are buying the best. The shovel that got our boys from the beaches of Normandy to the mountain lodge HQ of the Germans. This baby is *tough*; thick metal, and not a scrap of plastic—including its solid metal twist bolt that secures the blade unfolded. I needed nothing but a little 3-in-1 oil to have it working perfectly in minutes. Be sure to buy one of the durable covers…as one edge of the blade is pretty sharp—the better to saw thru tree roots your foxhole. Read carefully the descriptions of what Amazon offers; their plastic parts wouldn’t get you thru the first week of basic.
