B-3 Sheepskin Flyers Hat

I bought this bomber hat for my 3 year old toddler for winter. The quality is top notch. Genuine brown leather and sheeps wool on the inside. It's very warm. Understand it is NOS probably from late 70s to 80s. The hat looked like it laid on a shelf in its plastic bag for years. It was in new condition. I highly recommend if your looking for one. The only size was small. I have a small head and it's tight on me but perfect for my big headed 3 year old.

People tend to avoid me when wearing this hat, especially when unfastened... I love it. It looks wacky, which fits my personality.
It is very warm and comfortable. If it is REALLY cold and windy, I pull the hood up over the hat.

I will admit, I was skeptical about the B-3 Sheepskin Flyers hat but was curious enough to pull the trigger on it. Well some times you get something that surprises you and sometimes....a number of holes, the shearling liner is missing in spots and and the stitching is really bad...it was an interesting piece none the less. Last but not least, the flap is actually on the back of the hat it you wear the hat as its intended.

Fits good and I wear it in cold weather here in Massachusetts.
