Lightweight, durable and incredibly easy to setup, the ICS (Improved Combat Shelter) is the current generation one man combat tent for the U.S. Army. The ICS provides protection from rain, wind, and snow in virtually every climate. The tent is held up by aluminum poles forming a simple X shape, with an additional pole for setting up the vestibule for dedicated gear storage that are designed so that the tent will not collapse in the face of rain, wind or snow. There is a waterproof rainfly that will keep you dry even through rough weather.
The tent has a black rubber backing to block light from coming in or out so you can sleep in broad day light and you won’t be awoken when THAT guy who drives into the campground in middle of the night with his brights on. It also has a tactical advantage that if you have a light on in the tent it will not be visible from the outside.

Great compact shelter for overnight durable and not to heavy
Only given it a quick look over so far and there is no obvious damage or missing equipment. Best single person tent I've ever used in and out of the army.
It arrived in good used condition. It came with everything needed to set it up. Note: prior to setting it up turn it inside out and shake the dirt and grass out of the tub. Prior soldiers who were issued these tents obviously just packed them up and returned them to supply without cleaning them out :) Besides that I just set it up and let it air out. It is a pretty neat one person tent. I used the old 2 man shelter half while in the USMC during the 1990s. I have 2 of those and now 2 of these.
My order was completed in a expedited manner even after COVID-19. Great prices on much need items.
